Football legend he was, excellent we missed

I’m still shocked, it’s unbelievable. For some reason, I feel like I need to write about it.

I remember perfectly the first time I saw Gary Speed playing. Against Liverpool, 2006. One of those players you can’t wait to see on the pitch, one of those that makes a match enjoyable. 

One of those who will always remain in football history.

And always, an act class player. A professional model to so many youngsters in football world. 

But more than a player, he was a person. A great one. Why? He always had respect to others, and made of himself someone to respect. And that’s something missing in these days.

And then it came is manager era ahead of Wales NT. A young manager who got back the faith of Welsh people in his team. Gave life to Welsh football.Took Wales NT from 157th to 50th in the world.

He made one of my favourite players captain of his country. A big step for Aaron Ramsey, and that’s something that I will always remember as a Gunner. He believed in him, and took of him the maturity and responsibility that our player keeps now.

Look what this man has done. Look back and check it.

And after all that, we never knew the inner battle he was going trough. How could we? It’s just impossible. Sadly impossible. You just can’t do it, with anyone.

I’m just overwhelmed. Can’t either crying at a times. It’s sad. It’s terrible. Football has lost a great player. The world has lost a great person.

Rest in piece, Gary Speed. Thanks for all the moments that will remain. Thanks for making people believe in theirselves. 

And to you, whoever is reading this… life gets too much sometimes. Some people get over it, some others not. Don’t judge. Just be respectful.
